Language learners often freeze up or completely stop communicating when they hit a point of language that they dont know how to navigate. Antonio Graceffo teaches his students that it is OK to make mistakes. And when they dont know how to say something, they should describe it or talk around it. To demonstrate, Antonio tells a Chinese story to his students, and has them keep a tally of his mistakes in spoken Chinese. In spite of his more than 40 mistakes, the students understood the whole story.
