What would be better to get into the film industry a english degree or a combined english and film degree?

I am unsure whether to do a english degree st university and then a postgraduate in film afterwards or do a combined english and film degree. I want to go into film and television but am unsure what option is best as i am also a avid reader and writer and want to gain the skills to write.
