The translations by “Yusif Ali” and “Picktahl” have the least mistakes. However the (….) insertions have to be ignored as those are not part of the translation. Both of these gentlemen wrote these translations about a 100 years ago so some of the text is influenced by “man made” hadith and tafsir. For the most part “pictahl” is my favorite so far.
ps I would love to get a hold of a copy of the Jefferson Quran in the library of congress. It would predate the two mentioned above.
